The film highlights the unique story of families from the Marshall Islands that have moved to Chadron and enrolled their children in Chadron Public Schools.

The film features students and teachers from Chadron Public Schools and immediately following the film there will be a community conversation led by the school and film participants.

Follow Nebraska’s newcomer students: the inconceivable trauma and tribulations of their past, the perseverance to succeed in the present, and their hopes for a brighter future through quality education.
